Who I am
I'm an independent iOS developer. I build and run ToxFree on my own, so there's no big company behind it: when you email, the person who wrote the app reads it. I've published five iPhone apps, all listed on my App Store developer page.
How I work on ToxFree
I keep ToxFree's ingredient rules tied to what regulators have actually decided: the EU endocrine disruptor lists, EU cosmetics bans and limits, the WHO's cancer agency (IARC), California Prop 65 and FDA rulings. The guides on this site are built on products we scanned ourselves, and every claim links to its source. How scores are worked out is on the home page.
